Two messages from a parent

1st:

Your site is good to have links brought over from nyaa.se
but why does your site always have Porn Popups when my son age 10 keeps complaining when he hit download.

your website are giving my kid and his friend bad educations.

here is a warning, if my son ever complains to me about porn popping up again on his monitor screen. I will not hesitate to file a legal case on your website. if you are using VPN or tunneling,to hide your locations. you are wrong, law enforcement here can crack you down and arrest you for leading kids to mishap and misdirection on unwanted scenes with out their parents prior consent.

oh don’t give me BS about if this site is use as needed, and I have the rights to block from my own console as parental guidance. it is simple enough already you the provider need to stop Porn in first place.

2nd:

View post on imgur.com

you had been warned before, for advertising profanity and nudity and images illegal for all underage. now you had done it again. must I file a full lawsuit on you?

since the owner lives in San Mateo, California

there are STRICT laws covering for very high Fines and potential Jail time.

you either Cease and Desist on all Pornography contents. Or Law will surface at your door step.

This is really immoral. I have been an avid user of this site, and not even ONCE gotten a popup like that (pun intended), only gambling sites.

Is there a way to find out which links the boy have used?

I *have* Adblock, so I don’t get any popups at all from AnimeFansWTF, and don’t know what other sites pay to advertise via AnimeFansWTF. This “Concerned Parent” comes off suspiciously like a troll, though; the poor capitalization and punctuation are clues enough.

But let’s take “Concerned Parent” at his/her word, and ask one simple question: It’s not OK for your ten-year-old to see porn, but OK for him to engage in piracy?

Sure sure… Blame the site because you don’t know how to get an adblock… Or better yet put some parental restrictions on your kids browser….

I have several questions about the person who sent these messages.

    1) Are you letting your kids use the internet unsupervised? Knowing that porn and worse is out on the net that’s the worst thing you can do. Sure you trust your kids, but that doesn’t mean they won’t get into trouble and you should be there to help them.

    2) Why are you pushing your responsibility as a parent off on someone you don’t even know? This site for instance. It’s not their responsibility to raise your kids with your values. That is your duty. There are add blockers and parental controls you should be implementing to prevent your kids from stumbling across unwanted adds and sites that you don’t want them to see or be on.

    3) Your kids stumbled across porn adds on a web sight and you allowed them to visit the sight again. Why?

    4) and like OlderThanMost pointed out, why do you consider porn to be bad and piracy OK?

Biggest question of all: What 10-year-old boy in his right mind would complain about seeing porn?

    1. LOL. This site also posts pornographic anime (i.e. stuff like Seikon no Qwaser). Stop slacking off as a parent and monitor what your kid does on the internet. This site also posts some dark and gruesome animes like Tokyo Ghoul which you shouldn’t be letting your little kid get anywhere near.

-Personally though, I have never seen a pornographic AD come up on this site, so chances are, you have a virus/trojan. Better go get that checked.

    2. Not knowing where the owner is from. Kek. Try harder.

    3. Go look after your kid, while you were typing that he was probably browsing a gore thread on 4chan.

    4. The internet is for porn, look here for more information on this: http://youtu.be/m5z5U_xd8EU

Funny, the only pop up I’ve seen is after you click a filehost, which means it’s them not us with the “porn” ads.

If I said anything else I’d just be parroting everyone else.

This is either for the troll or the twit that sent those messages. One, we don’t control what the host sites make you do to download anything. Two be thankful that the supreme court voted and got rid of CODA, what that means is no one under the age of 13 is allowed to be on the net by themselves, So that makes you as the one breaking the law not us. You’re going to love this next one, Three, the site is protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.

I saved the best part for last for you moron. the actual law that prevents people like you who get their ass in a tight wad, from suing places like this.

Main article: Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act

Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act was not part of the original Senate legislation, but was added in conference with the House, where it had been separately introduced by Representatives Christopher Cox (R-CA) and Ron Wyden (D-OR) as the Internet Freedom and Family Empowerment Act and passed by a near-unanimous vote on the floor. It added protection for online service providers and users from actions against them based on the content of third parties, stating in part that “No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider”. Effectively, this section immunizes both ISPs and Internet users from liability for torts committed by others using their website or online forum, even if the provider fails to take action after receiving actual notice of the harmful or offensive content.[1]

i have never seen porn ads on this site!!! maybe because i have ads block with my browser and that i don’t download any shity things when installing on my pc…also i do have antivirus with firewall and also when installing application from the web i don’t accept all agrement asking us to accept before installing them so that they don’t install ads application on my Pc….maybe this person should check his/her PC…or for god sake use LINUX!!! and learn about how to protect your 10 years old kids using parent control apps…use proxy to block search keyword like porn sex etc….their are many thing that you should learn to prevent your kid to outsmart you!! that’s what happen when people don’t kown how to use the technologies all they do is complain because they are too lazy to learn… i know someone who work at customer service…when i hear the story of the complains that they got i alway lol sometimes…just because they suck on using newer technologies….all they do is complain and don’t try to find solutions themselves.

if you don’t like the site just get out of here simple….they are plenty of other sites out there!!!

There is no porn on this site, not on ads and there are no pop-ups with it. If you open the screenshot a site called snapsext is open in a new tab meaning it was no pop-up, and the naruto episode tab we don’t know if its even from animefansftw or not. This parent needs to realize pop-ups dont always come from the site your on. This kid was likely visiting porn sites, downloading porn and picked up an ad tracker. So the pop-ups are coming from his other online activities. So something pops-up and the kid tries to cover his ass by saying “not my fault the site has porn ads.” This kid has dumb parents who believe everything he says. It could also be from his dad and he blamed his kid so bitchy wife wont get mad at him.

it’s really fishy that this message would appear as if its site news on the taskbar or whatever its called. Never seen other posts non anime related under this category so why is this message the only one? Are the admins testing to see how users defend this site. doesn’t that seem odd to you?

I do get pop-ups along with site redirection to porn sites. This is using devices such as my tablet which you can’t get adblock on without rooted or using third party browsers.

So i guess its cya guys, not supporting a site that uses malware ads.

(Disclaimer: I do actually use adblock on all devices that i can use it on)

The pop-ups don’t occur often but there affect is enough to really make you want to avoid the site.
Guess its back to solely using nyaa..

I never had any porn in any way coming through this website.

The users get the porn themsleves via third party hidden software (and this is because they are going on porn websites).

So please, take your responsabilities and stop trying to oppose an educative (for once) community.

And for the parents, well, internet was created for porn, and its still around 90% of it.
So if you are scared of anything, then educate your children because we are not born from vegetables.

Dude i’m a frequent user of this site…. I’m no idiot to know when to use a vpn. My example was using the Stable Chrome browser on my Nexus 7 running 4.4.4 which i usually use for work so why would i access porn on it?? Anyway next time i get it i’ll screenshot it :/

For those who don’t use ad block it means that theres no promising non porn ads. Maybe you should talk with game-advertising-online about there ad providers.

Again, by ads there not the ads that are visible on the site, It opens a new tab with a js message telling you about a list of women that live near you, then redirects you to a site. The occurrence of it is extremely low, i’ve only had it occur 3 times.

        PROOF OF OCCURANCE

Did you happen to click a download link when that popped up? If so, then the host is the one redirecting you, not this site.

No clicks, all automated. When you click or dismiss the js popup in first screenshot it redirects to the URL in screenshot 2. I’m assuming one of the new ads is causing this :/ which is really up to your as provider to resolve.

never once have I ever seen porn sites pop up. downloading anime online is also kind of illegal so if you’re worried about porn popping up more than your son doing something illegal then I don’t even know anymore.
there are various ways to remove ads such as adblock, and if you’re not going to even try removing the ads before complaining when nobody else has, then well don’t blame the site because nobody else has complained and you didn’t even try removing them.

Now this is just STUPID. I have been using the site on a daily basis for around 2 years, don’t even use adblocks and never once in my life have i seen a porn ad here.

It may probably because of some stupid software, adware installed on your pc.

You will always see parents wanting to blam the world for the “job” they do wrong with their kids or simply do not do.

I just hope all ends well for your site, it really is one of the best.

Why are the kids complaining like lil bitches to their parents? I bet you they enjoyed it till they got caught and looked for someone or something to blame. Like a white girl luring a black guy into her room to fuck and the dad catches them. She’s gonna scream RAPE, and u know what that dad of her’s is gonna do. Parent your kids you fucking retarded shits of parents!!!!
